FUTURAMA RECORDS
We are founded by, run by, and supported by musicians and music industry veterans. We are in the business of putting out music we think deserves to be heard. Thru the popularity gaining NOW HEAR THIS! Compilation Discs and thru releasing independent music to the masses, we believe the future of music lies in the independent, and thus allowably creative, artist.
Our staff consists of performing musicians and people with experience in music booking, promotion and radio programming. We are also music lovers and the label is a labor of love.
We are a new kind of label-we are artist driven, not profit driven. We are more accepting in our artists and allow them complete creative control. Our artists fund their own projects and maintain all their rights. Our role (and goal) is to network them and legitimize them thru this site and other means as a way of building a community of artists with similar visions. Our deals are non-exclusive and our artists are always free to pursue (and sign) bigger and/or better deals.
If you are interested in becoming an affiliated artist, we always accept submissions. Our main requirements are that you present yourself professionally and that we like your music and feel it fits with our roster.
